Primming
Hi everyone I just bought a 1980 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd pickup and alls I want to do is prime the whole truck and just leave it. I don't want to get in to any big expense because it is just a beater. Can anyone help?

Re: Primming
Just start priming! Do you have a paint gun? Priming over the factory clear coat is probably not a good idea so it should be sanded off. If you are not looking for it to look real good just sand, clean, then prime. Primer tends to make its way into every crack possible so be sure to tape off all the windows really well.
