98' S70 GLT turbo running like crap

I have a 98 S70 GLT turbo 2.4. The other day while driving it, it shut off on me but started right away. But then the other day it shut off and had no choice but to have it towed as it wouldnt start at all. Once I got it home I started messing with it. I pulled off the Fuel relay and it started up but running bad. I replaced the relay and now it still starts up but hard time starting and still runs like crap. When I pull off the connection for the mass air it starts up a lot easier but still running bad. The only code I get is the tempature sensor which is bad. I have ordered that sensor but I dont think that is the true problem for this cause the check engine light has been on for almost 2 years cause of this code. Any ideas anyone
