what wrong wit my clutch

well i was racing my car a couple of nights ago and when i got up in the morning and pushed my clutch down it did not go back up, like there wasnt any pressure going up to push the clutch back, the car still starts and everything is just that the clutch doesnt push back up

Either the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder has gone bad. It works just like a brake master and slave... when you push the pedal it pushes fluid to disengage the clutch.

it cant be just like a spring or something and how would i know which it is the slave or master
