when to replace the timing belt
I have a 94 gs300 with 128k miles on it. The timing belt has never been replaced. When does lexus recommend this to be done?
Will damage occur if the belt breaks while driving? Do I need a shop manual to replace the belt? Thanks for any advice/ -pete |

Re: when to replace the timing belt
Look up the recommended maintenance and costs for any vehicle here.
http://www.edmunds.com/maintenance/M...g.feature..4.* 93-97 GS300 have non-interference engines - no significant damage to engine if it breaks. 98-2004 have interference engines change every 90K
