03 Dodge van p0601

I'm working on an '03 Dodge Ramvan 2500 with a 5.2 V8. It had a P0601 and P1687 code. P0601 - PCM Internal Controller Failure. P1687 - No cluster bus msg.

I can clear the codes and drive the van around trying to set monitors but they don't all set. I'm not sure if it is due to these problems or me not driving the cycle right.

But once I turn the truck off then restart it the codes come back. Am i looking at a PCM? or is there something less expensive to look at.
