Saw an old Deuce and a half on sale

for around 4k. looks to be 60's or 70's era US army type (still in OD with the big white star on the hood and doors) I dont know much about diesels though, and was wondering how to tell if its worth the 4k the guy's askin for it, and how to maintain (and drive) that sucker!
