Re: struts

ebay is probably the cheapest, I got the 2 for ~$125

I just did a search, and don't see any front strut bars on there right now, but there are a few rears that are between $40 and $50.

http://search.ebay.com/3000gt-strut-...fkrZ1QQfromZR8

That is the same one I have. If you decide to get it and need any installation help or anything let me know.

Re: struts

just a week ago i got a rear strut bar in a group buy off 3si.org. shoot a PM to JonVr4 over at 3si.org and see if he's got any left or when his next group buy will be. its good quality and works great. i can now throw my rear end out almost at whim. but it also helps it stick better. i got mine for 65 shipped. that's probably about the best deal you'll find. Igovert's 40/50 dollar bars will be around 55/65 shipped.

www.mvpmotorsports.com sells a cusco rear strut bar (good brand) for fairly cheap...much cheaper than other competitors sell it for at least.

Re: struts

Um, installation isn't that big of a deal.
The biggest problem with the front strut bar is interference with the battery. So it takes a bit of a struggle to get it to fit properly. I had to put some of hte bolt in upside-down. Also you have to remove the battery tie-down. I have yet to find a new way of tying it down...which sometimes presents issues, as my battery has a tendency to slide an inch or so under heavy braking/acceleration.

The back is relatively easy to install. You have to gut the rear (pretty easy actually) and then take off the access panels, use a breaker bar as there isn't much room to get leverage, break the bolts loose, and hten put it in. Then you have to use a razor or some sort of exacto knife to cut small squares out of the rear strut access panels to accomadate the presence of the strut bar. I like the rear, the front is currently off until I get my alignment redone.

Sway bars make a much more noticeable difference. But strut bars don't hurt, and they are cheap.
