there is a lot of stuff for this car...u just have to look for it..kyb has struts, intrax has springs for 86-89 323s but they should fit glcs, pacesetter has a short shifter kit for 86-89s which should also fit glcs, s&s has a header, pep boys has a gang of universal ricer stuff, and theres a lot of rims that fit...i tried the rims off my moms 90 accord and they fit real nice... im running some stock 82 maxima alloys that stick out a bit and make the car look pretty tough kinda like a rally car, especially with the big 195/70 tires...

I have a glc......Do you want it for parts for yours?
I KNOW parts are hard to come by cuz i am haveing a problem finding them. What do you need. The Engine on mine has 30,000 Org. miles and we just put a brand new fuel pump. If you are in need of parts or the car as a whole to do what you want with it let me know.
peace

Born Again Rotary

Greeting, I HAVE A "79" GLC that i made rotary. It is total fun to drive and alot of people under estimate what the car can do. I'm running a stock carb.,racing beat header ,a poor man's msd direct fire system and mickey thompson tires. It's a real sleeper ! I'm in search of a dash board for the glc. Let me know if you know anything.

Re: GLC power

I've got a dead 80 GLC in the driveway. Never quite made it to 250K, think I put 243K on it before it became a "Gross Polluter" back about 10 years ago. Pretty sure everything is seized up by now.

There's a guy in Pittston, PA, who's active in the SCCA, or at least was a few years ago, who is the king of engine swaps. He put a modified 13B (I think, or maybe a 12A) in a GLC, stripped out a lot of weight and went giant hunting. From what he told me, he could carry the front end and sure left of a lot of Z28's, etc, wide eyed. He had it for sale. You know, a toy that he was tired of playing with because he was making a new one (an awd Subaru 1988 RX with rotary power, I think). It was fairly cheap, but I didn't really have anything to do with it.

How much do the rotary engines cost? I have a 1979 GLC 5-door auto. I've been thinking about converting to fuel injection using the MegaSquirt controler, but if a rotary isn't to much I would do that. Ofcource I'll have to find one that was hooked to an auto tranny.

Re: GLC power

Does anyone know if the intake manifold and throttle body from a 1985 323 will bolt onto the head of a 1979 glc 1.4L?
