Sequoia crapping out

At an intersection today I was coming out of a turn, and pushed on the gas pedal of my 2007 Sequoia to accelerate, but it didn't respond. I thought the car was about to stall, but rather it seemed to wake up a few seconds later and I continued on. Previously (for the last month or two or three or four) my car doesn't seem to take steep hills well either. What are some potential reasons for this? As an fyi, my car gets quarterly oil changes and has 200,000 miles (but that doesn't mean I'm willing to give up on it -- I'm not. I've never had to fix anything on this car -- it's awesome, and I want to keep it for another 100,000 miles.) thanks
