Which of these two cars is a better deal?

Just wondering, which is a better deal and cheaper in the long run?

2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Automatic - 18,000 miles for $51,000 (Certified)
or
2009 Nissan GTR Premium - 9,000 miles for $65,000?

----

I'm leaning towards the Cadillac, mainly because it seems more luxurious and larger room in the rear seats, and because it is cheaper.

Thanks!

I would agree on the Cadillac as well ! I'm not sure the GTR would be a very good street machine and would require much more upkeep in the long run . It basically it a street car version of a race car . The Cadillac might not have quite the power of the Nissan but it is a much more practical street vehicle and is miles ahead in the luxury department ! I'm sure many here will criticize my words and likely ridicule me as well . Just my $ 0.02 - " Worth every penny you paid for it " !

I for one will not criticize , you made some excellent points.

The asker is leaning towards the Cady regarding luxury and room I agree with and cheaper yes at this stage, but personally thoughts from an investment point of view 5 or 6 years down the road The Nissan will be worth much more than the 14 grand that differ at this time.

Nah, not criticize, but those are not apples to apples comparison. If you were comparing the Cadillac with a Lincoln that would be a closer comparison. Or the GTR verses an XLR. Two completely different cars for two completely different driving experiences. I personally would go for the GTR, but that's just the kind of guy I am. Not to mention I am not a huge fan of the CTS.

You have to go with Cadillac. It’s a great car. It’s great deal to buy Cadillac because I don’t think that Nissan GTR is good. Cadillac is much better than Nissan GTR.

He's right, a super car versus a luxury sedan. Although I do have to go with the Cadillac as it is more versatile and isn't going to be cheaper for time your and regular services. The nissan will hold its value better and man would it be fun but the Cadillac is gonna end up being the more sensible choice.

I would go GTR, but it really depends on what your going to do with it. Is it going to be a daily driver? The GTR will definitely turn heads and is very reliable compared to GM in my opinion.
