94 Villager check engine light
My villager is seldom driven but I need inspection to register. I bought new and have driven 124,000 and spent a small fortune on small to large repairs mostly minor. In past check engine have been easy to fix. This time however, with the help of AutoZone doing the code check, the code is 51 - fuel injector. I think I know how to find the offending injector but replacing it is an issue for me. The costs may be more than I am willing to pay. Any idea as to how much this would cost. The code 51 was the only one.
I have read that others with the same problem have replaced injectors only to have another fail a few weeks later, on and on. I hate to "clunker it out" because it is a great running car and in fairly good shape, specially the interior, AC, battery and tires. |

Replace them all is a great idea but at $80 each for 6....whew!

It's better than playing wack-a-mole with each injector individually as they fail.
