1989 firebird has no power at all

Have a 1989 firebird and it came with no battery So i got a brand new one and put it in and I have no power at all when i turn the key no lights go on or anything so i am wondering what could be wrong

Power to the main circuits in fuse box, power from the main junction?

I looked at all the fuses and all of them are good

Do you have power to the fuses? If not check the fusible links at the starter.
