GM CEO Dan Akerson
General Motors has taken billions of dollars of American Tax Dollars to save themselves. Yet the tax dollars are not all that GM needs to stay in business. They need to change the way they design and make automobiles. Make them with higher mpg, with the look and options people want, and not the least, affordable.
It is time to let GM die because they do not have the will to work to bring us better autos. The mindset is the same as it was 10 years ago. The CEO of GM, Dan Akerson, is showing us that he is fat and lazy. When your CEO is useless the rest of the company follows. CEO Dan Akerson was interviewed by The Detroit News and what does he have to say? That GM is going to produce the best cars in the market. That his designers are going to produce an affordable high mpg car. Nope. He continues the lazy ways GM is known for. He wants the US government to raise gas taxes by $1 so people will by nudged to buy fuel efficient cars. It would make it easier for GM. They won't have to innovate to bring fuel efficient car's prices down. Just let the government nudge Americans into the GM showroom. Social engineering Detroit style. No more bailouts. I will never consider buying a GM car ever again. Let another car company buyout all of GM's assets and put their employees to work building innovative automobiles. http://detnews.com/article/20110607/...368/1148/rss25 |
