Ground points????
Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there knew why when I turn on my headlights it loads up and engine and it starts surging? Could it be ground points? So far.. new alternator, new battery, moved some ground points, added ground points etc. This is driving me insane!!!

When you turn on the AC, headlights, or any other high-draw accessory, the engine has to put out more power. Typically there is a control system that increases the throttle opening & engine speed to compensate for the increased demand (at idle). If this system is malfunctioning, you may see symptoms like what you are describing. Check your "idle air control" system (IACV, etc) first.
