Crossfire roadtest
Clicky here
Canadian Driver's road test of the new Crossfire. From the tests ive read here in England, its a great car and should do well against the German and Japanese competition. If only AMG could get their hands on it. |

Re: Crossfire roadtest
I here it's a crappy car..Top gear did some testing on it and those brit's hated it.. First off, it's slugish.. it weighs like 3300 and only has like 220 horsepower.. the steering wheel is huge and the gear box supposedly blows goats.. not to mention the retarded rear end...i dunno, i guess it's ok for a guy tired of cadiliacs or something lol... it's too senior citizen for me i guess..

Re: Crossfire roadtest
I have to agree,I don't know how much it costs. But,with a car that looks like that. When they put a v6 in it.It screams senior citizen. Not that there's anything wrong with that.If that's the demographics you're going for. But,it seems that you'd sell a whole lot less cars for that price. Why could'nt they put a 318,or 360 in it??? Because they can't make it for a decent price. I have definitely lost faith in Chrysler,oh wait (I never had it to begin with, sorry.)

Re: Crossfire roadtest
first off, they havent made a 318 or 360 in a few years now, so thats out the window, second the gears are nice and smoth and well ratioed, good low and top end, and the twin turbo version will be out soon, oh and the price, on the convertable that i pdi'd the oter day is 53000 canadian dollars

Re: Re: Crossfire roadtest
Whats so senior citizen about the Chrysler Crossfire?
Its a cool looking car and i wish I had one! I have never driven it but so far the only two things I don't like about it is that it has a V6 and I have heard that if your over 6 feet tall you'll have problems fitting in one. |

Re: Re: Crossfire roadtest
Thats odd.
Samurai, have you driven in it. I heard that it can be a little uncomfortable if your driving it afte awhile. Maybe I heard wrong. |
