mazdaspeed vs sir

i was cruising around one night in my mazdaspeed, 2003.5 gunmetal...with some upgrades..stage2 turbo turbosmart blowoff valve 3 inch exaust straight pipe (front to back) boost controller 9 pounds fuel injectors fuel rail cold air intake. from the outside the car looks completly stock.so i pull up to a red light and a white civic sir pulls up at me and starts reving his engine. he had exause airintake wing bodykit (he thinks hes in fast and the furious or somthing) i rev back.once the light turns green i killed him on take off spinning tires when i shifted to second.he couldnt even keep up. my speed has 270hp in such a light car,im sure hell remember the race.

Good jorb. Have your car to the track at all?

You've got about the same hp as the 2005 right?

Re: mazdaspeed vs sir

Was this outside of the US, because we didn't get the SiR?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the Mazdaspeed Protege. Nice little car, they have something like 170hp stock, 100hp gain would certainly be optimistic with those mods unless I'm reading something wrong. I had a run-in with an orange Mazdaspeed with my former modded 5.0L Mustang. I must say, they are peppy little cars. Can't wait to see the new turbo 6.

Re: mazdaspeed vs sir

2003 is definitley a Mazdaspeed Protoge. First year of the Mazda Orange
And he is from Canada, as am I. And yes the Canucks got the Si-R from 2002-2004 which is the equivilant to the States Si. Ugly little thing.

And the speed5 (protoge) weighs about 2800lbs. It's pretty friggin lightweight. Does a 1/4 in 15.4 STOCK, so even without those upgrades he would have taken the Si-R

its a 2003.5 mazdaspeed gunmetal, it was the new one they made with a diffrent front skirt. and yes my car does push 270hp. just the exaust i have on it give me 40 hp and 50 pounds less. all of the intercooler and turbo piping is all 3inch stainless steal.and it has a new computer that changes around the fuel and air mixture.that gave it almost 50hp.
