Re: z32 VG30DE-TT swapped in to a z31
guess you didn't look very hard... there's a thread about it right on the main past z cars screen... by me! but anyway... it is possible... mounts have to be changed, and you gotta get really familiar with your hammer, cause the vg30dett is too wide for the engine compartment, just barely though... so with some... persuation it should work... but why'd you wanna do that? you could get to 1000 HP on the vg30et no problem... it's a great motor!

Re: z32 VG30DE-TT swapped in to a z31
The Z31 engine bay is a fair bit narrower than the Z32. This means the VG30DE-TT will not fit, hell a VG30DE wont fit either. But the RB series fits nicely.
My advice, stay Nissan, dont go domestic. You can make good power and stay withing your own car race. yes I am a racist.... I dont belive in crossing of the car races.

yeah. i'd say so... like i said you can get a stupid amount of power out of the vg30et.. the motor and tranny are good up to 400-500 HP without too much modding...
