Museum

The Citation and the fiero both need to be next to each other in a museum for some of the worst cars ever

Re: Museum

Your point is?

I owned a 1982 Pontiac Phoenix, which is the same as a Citation, and it was actually a pretty good car. Until my sister blew the engine on it.

Re: Museum

By that logic, every Saturn, every C5 Corvette, and everything else which used the ideas pioneered on the P-Cars for structure and body, should be alongside them.

Have a bad experience with a car or two, did we? I had three Fieros, and can't complain about any of them. The "worst car ever" took a hit from a VW Golf while parked and got launched into a tree in my front yard. The Golf was a total loss, and completely inoperable. The Fiero sustained this much damage:

I was driving it two days later (after replacing the wheel, left lower control arm, and tie rod end) and drove it until I found the necessary fender and door skin for a proper repair. The "worst car ever" was pretty tough under the plastic skin.

Re: Museum

To each his own I currently own 2 Citations one I drive to work, and the other is a project getting a 3800 v-6 out of a LeSabre and 4wheel disc brakes. Ever own any FWD GM cars, you can thank the Citation it was the first transverse mounted FWD car the general built. The Citation getting the 3800 swap is an X-11, which were factory SCCA race cars which several notable people raced including Don Yenko. Interested in more check out our Yahell group Chevy Citations Forever. Has lots of cars including guys that have done Cadillac v-8 swaps that run like raped apes.

P.S. You Fiero guys can thank the Citation too. Take a close look at your engine cradle and the cradle of a Citation.....
