i have a question that is almost related.
what reason do have for no liking any of the companies listed?
it might just be me but i get the feeling that a lot of people don't like honda because of the associations between them, one of the cars they make and a sub group of a certain type of car enthusiast.....

My sentimental favorite is Mazda, due to having an RX3 as my first Japanese car, but I love cars from all of them.

I have to ask, however, how is the RX8 "ruined?" It's not a replacement for the RX7, but merely the latest in a long line of rotary sedans from Mazda, from the R100 and RX2 to the RX3 and RX4, all 4 of which were available in 2 door, 4 door, and station wagon form.

The fact that they OWN all is opinion. I will agree that they have more cars with potential. As Toyota is making nothing but FWD crap these days. I just wish Nissan made some good looking cars.

I do love Nissan and they'll always be my favorite, but I've also owned Honda and Toyota and loved them as well.

LOL! It's all cool, my only problem with Toyota is they've become bland, and lack RWD platforms, Honda makes a few good looking cars but lacks RWD platforms as well. It's like they just don't understand that there are some people who won't by or don't care for FWD.

Toyota doesn't really "lack" RWD platforms, they simply sell them as Lexus models.

Toyota/Lexus has just turned into a boring company really. sure, they make good cars. but they make cars that are good as transportation appliances. thats it. no sports cars. they have cars like the GS430 and the Camry S. but they also tuned the stability control to prevent you from doing any sliding or wheel spinning. i guess that is safe, but how much fun can you really have?
