Re: mufflers

My wife's v-6 Mustang has the 40-series FlowMaster exhaust. It sounds pretty good. It's still a v-6 sound, but it's a meaner, lower tone. But it also has the headers to tailpipe all FlowMaster. It all depends on what you can spend on it. On my 01 Bravada, I only have the Dynomax Turbo muffler and it sounds pretty good.

Re: mufflers

The flowmaster original 40 series is probably the best sounding muffler on the 4.3 depending on who you talk to. Do a search on you tube to find the sound you like. Installing a high flow cat will also change the tone just a bit, making it deeper and louder.
