Overheating
My 93 fetsive has a bit of a problem in stop and go traffic, it overheats very fast. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Overheating
Only when my radiator was clogged and the fan wasn't working. Worn out water pump can also cause this.

Re: Overheating
have you checked to see if your fan is coming on? might be a fuse or something?

Re: Overheating
Mine does it in stop/go traffic. not OVERHEATING but she does rise the needle.
My other Festiva (god bless her) did it too so I just figured it was notorius for that. I'll check out the rad suggestion though. When it does overheat and it looks like I'll be in traffic for a long time, I'll turn up the heat and crank the fan. That brings the needle down. |
