Idle air motor
Replaced the idle air motor tonite .started it up wouldn't even idle,had knocked the fuel pressure vaccume line off.started it back up still wouldent idle right drove it around awile and now it idles fine, guess it had to learn the new part? any ideas? guess we will see in the morning.

The new Idle Air Control valve may have been sticky - and yes, maybe it had to "learn" the new valve.
For those who haven't done it: Many Windstar idle problems are caused by the IAC. It can be replaced - but it often responds well to cleaning. Here's a nicely-written procedure on cleaning the Windstar IAC: http://leckemby.net/windstar/windstar02.html
