XM or not?

Hi my girlfriend recentely bought a 2007 g5. She is trying to figure out if it has XM or not. The dealer said it did but I dont think it does. When you click band it will only go to fm and am. This makes me think it doesnt have it but when you press the cat button, i think thats what the button was called, it says somthing about xm feature. Also on the spec sheet the only thing it says about xm is "R9X XM RADIO TRACKING CODE." What does this mean? Also if it doesnt have xm can it be installed without a separate unit?

Re: XM or not?

I bought a 2007 G5 GT around last Thanksgiving and it does come with XM. I got 3 free trial months and have extended the service for another 3. Maybe your G5 didn't come with the free trial and you need to contact XM to start your service. They will ask you for your radio code. Check this website out to get it started. https://xmro-secure.xmradio.com/listenercare/login2.xm
