92 deville 4.9 Power Steering Pulley sheered / fell off and destroyed belt!

Got done work yesterday, pretty warm outside. fired up the caddy, drove off. got her upto a cruise at 40mph, felt like it slipped or had trouble maintaining that speed, hit gas, THUD! power steering pump pulley (composite) sheered off its metal center base. belt got shredded, I limped it home for almost 10 minutes . had a tiny puddle of coolant under car when i parked it.

Did i cook my engine? 4.9

How do i replace the pulley when the metal toothed center(which is not stripped) of it is still on the shaft of the pump? the center of composite pulley that had the matted to the metal teeth is stripped.

check your oil and coolant if you have oil in your coolant or vise versa your engine is done, also i had the same thing happen with me but with my water pump opened up the hood and steam was coming out everywhere, i got lucky though, but with the power steering just replace the whole unit, you buy everything at a auto parts store
