see, but your wrong there, the wrx doesnt compare to the m3. sure the m3 is an awesome road car, but as soon as the track becomes dirt/gravel/snow, the wrx will blow the m3's doors off. so in my opinion, the wrx is a more well rounded car.

Who the flip is that kid n1m3? That has got to be the gayest kid I have ever seen. I mean, for all he says about his so called "busineses", wouldn't he be a little bit better with his vocabulary and writing skills or something like that? Plus, having restaurants like that is the lamest thing I have ever heard. And what's he mean 100k houses? Every house cost over 100K. And to tell the truth, his dad isn't successful if he started a chicken restaurant, unless he's a great cook (which I doubt because it looks as if his businesses are drive throughs). I live in NJ and my dad was very successful but I don't boast about it to everyone and I don't use his money for things (except he is buying my first car, which I will have in about 5 to 9 months). My father owns 2 dealerships. Muller Toyota in Clinton, NJ and Muller Chevrolet in Stewartsville, NJ. He isn't a Subaru dealer, but I'm still getting a WRX. My father is also the president of TDA, which is Toyota Dealers Association for the New York Region and is a very busy man. Now, don't think I am saying how great I am or how great my dad is, but I'm trying to say is that some people like n1m3 think they are all that when they have some little restaurant thing, and then there are others like me that say, "Yea me family owns 2 car dealerships, but I don't think I'm great, I'm a normal kid that likes cars and respects others about their jobs or whatever." The way I get my money is that I have a job at Toyota, I'm a car detailer. Anyway, the WRX is sweeet. I was either getting a Celica GT-S, an Acura RSX Type S, or the WRX. The Celica is to slow, I found that you can't change the head unit in the RSX, the radio shit is built straight into the dash, so I was left with the WRX. Now, I don't know much about the BMW's, but if I did, I wouldn't want one. No matter what money I had, they aren't cool compared to other cars such as a WRX, Z06, Evo VII, or the Supra. But I mean, they don't even make the Supra anymore, plus it was alot of money, so I wouldn't want it. I do want the Evo VII, that is my favorite car and always will be. That is known to beat Mustangs, Cameros, Vettes, WRX's, anything. Now I'm not saying it's the best, but it's a decent car. I hate when people brag about one car like some people on the forum. 'coolness' is in the eye of the beholder. I find the M3, M5, M roadster and M coupe (geez, I could have just said the 'M' cars and taken a lot less time ) to be really cool. But I like the WRX STi and EVO VII better, and the Z06 is also cooler. Just goes to show that another mans trash is another mans treasure (not that any of the cars mentioned are trash )

See as soon as somebody mentions that this car is cool, another person takes them out saying, "those cars suck." Those are my opinions right now. First off, I have never driven any yet and will someday, then I may change my mind. I love the inside of those cars though, they are sweeet. I never said I hated BWM's either, I said I like the WRX and EVO VII better. And believe me, I will always like the EVO VII, it will always be one of my favorites.

True, the M3 is a really nice car, but it's, what, twice as expensive as the WRX, plus you can't go autocrossing. It's pricey to tune the M3 as well, so you'll be spending quite a bit. With the difference in price alone for both cars stock, you could tweak the WRX to a monster.

u think your WRX is getting old, shit my 83' RX-7 is old but it will still stomp the shit out of anyone in town with the V-8 stuffed under it. i recommend you should take your WRX to a COBB TUNING specialist, and get the RT package for your scooby. They can make a WRX almost as fast as a stock Dodge Viper GTS! I can also say that after test driving both the E46 M3 and WRX, u made a wise choice with buying the WRX, it might not be a bimmer, but it still hauls ass with the right parts and tuning. Explore the potential of your WRX and you will understand why I say u made a wise choice in cars!
