i have never heard of nuremburg before. maybe you mean nürnberg
it´s a city in bavaria about 150 km north of munich

i don´t know what role it played in the WW2.

Yes, in 1935 Germany passed the Nuremburg laws, which deprived jews of their citizenship, and forbid them to marry Germans. After the war, war crime trials were held in Nuremburg, and were used to execute or imprison many German officers and members of the Nazi party.

In one of the books, Felix Leiter picks up Bond in either a Studillac or a Fordillac, I don't recall which primarily because I read it so long ago.

Also, for some bizarre reason, I like the 1960 Ford wagon he ride in in the film From Russia With Love.
