Re: Photos of your rides here

Yeah, those are the stock calipers. They are supposed to be polished but something has stained the finish and now I'm deciding what color to finish them in.

Re: Photos of your rides here

i really shouldnt lok at your cars, it makes me want one even more.

blink: maybe a ferrari 512/testarossa. my figuring comes from the narrow front wide rear, and the vents in front of the rear wheels. the only difference(on this angle) would b the different type of lights.

i also was thinking(looking at blinks pic) maybe the indent in the 3k body(where a stealth spoiler goes) helps the air get to the spoiler better. air comes down into it, then swoops back up under the spoiler...idk.

actually, from what i recall from seeing a 3000gt wind tunnel diagram somewhere, at high speed the air coming off the roof lands right on top of the spoiler, and the whole rear window is a low pressure zone. I would be willing to bet that the ridge helps stabalize the low pressure vortex.

no idea if that's ture or not, but hey, it sounds good lol.

another possibility is that it's there to delaminate the airflow off the rear window at lower speed, again maintaining that low pressure area. I wish we could ask the designer! did they ever get an interview with him?

you're talking about that little area under the rear hatch glass? It's to catch rain water, and direct it into the drains in the trunk. Otherwise, rain water would be running all over the place in the seams and probably find it's way into the trunk itself ... this way, it directs the majority of the flow into the drain holes.

yup, and i know that's one reason. but i was thinking if mitsu kept it there had to have been a secondary reason...wo different bodies in that area, i was thinking extra air to get downforce.

hey i wouldn't mind a mini pool in the back of my stealth, could b fun.

Haven't poste the VR4 in here so here it goes:

I think this was the day I bought it: (which came out terrible)

Here are a couple more I took just recently. Only one minor visual change to the car that makes quite a difference from when I bought it:

Some more older pics:
