searching for replacement parts..

I lost a couple of the square and rectangle "things" in the trunk. I dont know what they are called so i cant really search for them. They are the "things" that are held in with that circular pin type thing on the back inside wall of the trunk. That connect to the tail lights and such. Any hints on where i may be able to find these for replacement?

Re: searching for replacement parts..

I think they are called 'access panels' or something.

Re: searching for replacement parts..

Sorry for the double-post, but my browser is screwing up the 'edit' window...

There is some website, I think Linebacker might have posted it awhile ago, where you can try and find stock parts...it'll be cheaper than teh dealership.

Personally, I'd go on 3si, there is always someone parting theirs out...and those would be cheap, easy to get, easy to ship...you get your parts, and they get easy part-out money, so it would work out for all.

hahaha, 3si is free to sign up. only $10 if you want a full membership, also you can just email the admins and they should email you your password.

ya, i recently had to replace a bunch of my rear suspension parts (you can see some pics in the "Name the Part" thread). i found the parts at salvage yards/junk yards whatever you wanna call em through this website: www.car-part.com . it has a database of just about every salvage yard across the United States. VERY USEFUL! if you're in the TX area, i'd recommend Chaparral Auto Parts out of Frisco, TX. Very nice people, easy to deal with, give you great deals on almost-new parts.
