motor mounts?
Ok, I haven't been getting any wheel hop or anything, but sometimes in 3rd or 4th under WOT I hear a metal on metal scratching kinda sound...you think it's worn motor mounts. I'm still under 50k, so I'd be kinda surprised, but I really don't know what it is. It doesn't happen all the time, just occassionally.

pop your hood and grab ahold of your engine. try to move it forward and back. you should be able to tell how worn your mounts are from just that.
if they are bad i have a set of stock mounts in perfect condition. I couldnt budge my engine at all, but i figured when aiming for around 500hp i should go with solid. |
