i have a 07 fusion. and the display on the radio over time just went black i can not see the display any more. The radio works fine but you just cant see it. Does it need a new radio? if so how do you remove it Thanks

Re: Fusion Radio

I know this post is old, but I have a 2007 Fusion and it did the same thing. If I bang on the display it will come back! I was told this use to be a common problem with Ford's and that I would most likely have to get a new radio.

Re: Fusion Radio

just wanted to put on here too, I talked to the Ford dealership, they said to check the connections at the back of the radio. If they're good, then there is a problem inside the radio (which I think we already knew) and they can send it in to be repaired, but he said he's seen some that have cost $80 to get fixed and some that cost up to $600. So I'm not sure if they'll let you know before they fix it, but might be better to just find a different one and hope that one is good.
