DIY of headlamp(Glass+doom) method?
Hello All,
Im planning to build Roadster myself and started with initial data collection to assess the extent of customisation and possibility without hefty tooling costs. On that account, I have planned to fabricate the headlamp myself. Could you please let me know that if there are any cheaper & easier way to fabricate one or is there any other similar technique like fiberglass(not exactly but the method)? Please help!!! Thanks for reading

Re: DIY of headlamp(Glass+doom) method?
Are you looking for something that is purely cosmetic, or something that is useful and projects a useful amount of light on the road without blinding other drivers? I'm not sure what the regulations are where you live, but to be legal in the States would require the headlamps to be approved for on-road use by the Department of Transportation (DOT). If non-functional and purely cosmetic, or for off-road use only, then you have a lot more freedom.
Or are you just looking for someone who can make matching custom buckets that will accept a standard sealed beam style headlamp? -Rod |
