Fusion AC issues - cutting in and out, then just stopped working.

I just wanted to post this because I was having some issues with my air conditioning on my 2007 Fusion. The AC would cut in and out several times per day for about 3-4 days. Then the AC just stopped working all together. The blower would work at the various speeds but it would blow warm/hot air (probably just because it was hot in the car). Anyways, I did some research and found that Fusions have a defective part that goes bad all of the time. It is the AC temperature sensor that is located in the evaporator box. The evaporator box is located under the center part of the dash. The only way to get at it is to tilt the dash back and reach through the glove box or top storage bin (that you would remove). The only thing is that you have several things to take off so that you are able to rock it back. It should take a novice about 4-5 hours to complete the entire job. Here is a link that descibes the process to do this repair.

Wonder if the new probes are identicle to the old? If I had to change this probe more than once I'd be saying goodby to Ford.

Daughter's 2013 Fusion is having the same problem; a/c compressor clutch not engaging. Pressures are good. Compressor clutch fuse and relay are good.
Is the evaporator temp sensor in a 2013 located in the same place as 2007, et al? Someone with specific knowledge about the 2013 Fusion please reply. Thank you.
