My car stereo shut off which causes both my tachometer and speedometer to cycle to zero and back to my current speed and RPM, yesterday this problem also caused my engine to shutdown I was able to restart the engine this occurred three while driving to the store and back about 10 miles. I have an amp wired to my stereo. please any suggestions.

Your alternator/voltage regulator may be going. Have your charging system tested. Most auto part stores will test for free. Unless you have a voltmeter to do the testing.

Re: 1999 Isuzu electrical problem

Update: Followed advice of other member, had my charging system checked.
Charging system good 13.63V, battery failed load test under 11V good news battery was within the free replacement warranty, so i have a new battery. Hopping this fixes this issue. Again thanks for your advice.
