Help with 1991 Bathurst Skyline

I have wanted to build a model of the R32 Skyline from the 1991 Bathurst in the Trycolor livery for a long time now.

Does anyone know where I can get decals from?

I am planning on using the Tamiya kit along with a racecar chassie and RB26 engine from Factory 81

Do you guys have any other tips?

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris

The only place I can think of is Pattosplace. He does then in various scales. You may have to wait a while as apparently he is pretty crook.

Here is a link to the decal sheet he prints.

or look through his website www.pattosplace .com

Your biggest problem will be the wheels. They were manufactured just for the Australian cars and I have not seen any in scale.

Thank you very much for the link, just what I was after!
Would you happen to know how long he has had the site "on hold"?

Thanks again.

Chris

There was a company called Roo decals that did the Winfield livery, think they mightve done this livery too. But all i can find is Red Roo miltary stuff.

Roo Decals definitely did the Winfield livery, and I am sure they did this as well. They are long out of production, but do occasionally turn up of 2nd hand websites. As for the wheels, Tamiya's Calsonic R32 kit are probably the closest, and painted up white look okay.

Hi Chris, patto has only recently had the surgery - last couple of weeks at most.

With the Roodecal stuff, they did the original livery and the Winfield stuff. Don't remember the '91 livery.

Just checked his site again this morning and he is starting to ship orders out again.

I'll order the decals over the weekend, all I need now is to find a Calsonic kit...
