02 Axiom - CEL on all 4 o2 heating circuits

Hey all,

SO... I've had my 02 Axiom (100,010 miles today!) into a private shop and an Isuzu dealership here in Phoenix and neither can figure this one out.

Back in December my 'Ax starting throwing a CEL ... the code(s) that came up were for the o2 heating circuit... but ALL FOUR fired at once. My mechanic checked it out.. found no blown fuses, no loose wiring, etc. Everything looked great. He cleared the code and asked me to watch it for awhile.

The CEL reappeared a week later. Same thing... all four o2 heating circuits at once.

Took the 'Ax to the Isuzu dealership in Tempe. They said my battery was only putting out 250-300 amps and it probably wasn't enough to fire up the heating circuits. I had them change the battery (it was time for that anyway) but couldn't quite believe the story about it causing my CEL. They claimed to have tested all four o2 sensors and they all passed.

Four days later the CEL pops on again... same thing. All four o2 heating circuits at the same time.

So... ANY ideas? Even Isuzu seems stumped on this one.

I love my Axiom but I hate driving with the CEL on, not knowing for certain if this is the probably or if something else is wrong and I'm incorrectly ignoring it. ANY ideas would be appreciated!

What are the odds of all four going bad?
Could it be a bad Relay switch for the H02 sensors?

Well the O2 sensors themselves tested fine... the CEL is for the sensor HEATING circuits. All four sensors were removed and separately tested and passed diagnostics.

What's the chance all four heating circuits are bad, all at the same time, but with no blown fuses in the block?

How about the H02 sensor Relay switch?

They won't!
Check the owners manual, or http://www.alldata.com
The fuse box for H02 sensors fuse, probably houses the relay too.
