How long to keep Pilot?
Anyone have a Pilot with over 80,000 miles on it? I have not put a penny into my 04 EX-L, but wonder if that will continue, or if I should trade. Anyone every had the timing belt replaced? Is it necessary? Also wonder about the cooling fan.

Re: How long to keep Pilot?
Timing belt changes could be expensive but necessary. Folllow your owners manual suggestion for the belt change, if you don't and your timimg belt brakes it can cause serious damage to your engine, as far as mileage goes and how long to keep it, c'mon man, it's a honda, they last forever as long as you keep up with your scheduled maintanance. Good luck

Re: How long to keep Pilot?
Two different Honda dealers in central Iowa have different charges for the same service.
To replace timing belt, water pump, coolant, accessory belts will cost $864 to $1234 plus sale tax depending on the dealer. |
