Vaz-2101 (Lada 1200)

Hello friends!

This is conversion of Hachette magazine diecast model (1/24 scale).

-Repainted body;
-Repaited inerior;
-Was used PE parts, metal foil;
...

Overall, very nice result.
I'd agree with George, panel lines are overdone. But excellent job nonetheless.

Sure, should not have painted it white then. Black would have been much better choice.

Yes I dont like white paint. But this model has real prototype in my family.

Looks cool and very well done, I would like to do a 70's style GR-2 racer version with flared wheel arches and lowered suspension! I have found that using a sharpened propelling pencil (HB lead) for panel lines works quite well with white and other light colours because you can make the lines very thin and not super dark. And if you do not apply much pressure to the pencil when doing it if it goes wrong you can literally rub it out with an eraser or polish and try again!
