I'm at 16,000 in six months (12/2005 to 06/2006) One year later: Well, now I'm at 41,500.. that's another 25,500 Two years later: Well, now I'm at 66,750.. that's another 25,250 Three years later: Well, now I'm at 79,000.. that's only 13,000, gave her a break Four years later: Well, now I'm at 110,000.. back to pushing over 25k, now 35k annually Five years later: Well, now I'm at 140,000.. did 30k easy Six years later: Well, now I'm at 172,000.. that's 32k in the past 12 months Quite a bit of maintenance and some parts got us here, still looks and runs showroom new! Seven years later: Well, now I'm at 191,000.. that's only 19k in the past 12 months Been through lots of tires, some brakes, three windshields, wife broke a wheel in a pothole.. Still running great! Eight years later: Well, now I'm at 215,000.. that's only 24k in the past 12 months More tires, More brakes, Wife broke another wheel, Some dings on the bumpers.. and the big one, $2500 for <complete> Transmission Rebuild a few months ago. Still running great!, Body and Paint looks great!, Interior looks great! Nine years later: Well, now I'm at 230,000.. that's only 15k in the past 12 months Wife is still driving the car since year seven (the pothole incident) and to date broke THREE wheels I now keep spare wheels in the garage and don't bother Tire Wear Warranty.. she takes out tires & wheels regularly. Moral of that story, don't let the wife drive low profile tires and performance suspension. The bumpers on both ends are now dinged up (wife again).. Interior still looks great! Engine is purring like a kitten, runs strong as always. Been on Mobil 1 Synthetic since day one. Flush the transmission every 40k miles now.. learned that lesson the hard way! Town Car too!! Ten years later: Well, now we're at 250,000.. that's only 20k in the past 12 months My teenage daughter has come of driving age and is now driving the Mazda 3 .. She has no real clue what a wonderful little car that is compared to most.. but she loves it ! Her first car.. I recall my first car, Galaxy 500 .. big 'ol gas sucker red w/black Vinyl top. Back to the Mazda.. it's still running like new. Went through another set of engine mounts, more tires, lots more Mobil 1 oil.. great little car. Eleven years later: SAD NEWS .. The 3 is dead and gone after 11 good years.. almost 280k miles and she was in a wreck that totaled her. Remember the teenage daughter.. well.. she was driving to work in the rain.. She came off a freeway ramp and spun out.. Climbed up a twenty inch concrete curb and ripped everything out of the bottom.. Both axles pulled out, struts bent and broke, transmission cracked open, engine hit so hard the oil pan ripped off.. all mounts shredded.. Front and rear bumpers hanging on by threads.. two of the four doors wont open.. Really nothing left to salvage.. even all my new parts were broken.. very depressing. Wreaking yard did give my daughter $300 for what was left.. we took that and held the funeral for the 3 One blessing.. The 3 deployed all her airbags, tightened up her seat-belt and gave her live to save my daughter. Thank you 3.. we had a good run R.I.P.

Re: milage how much do you have on you 3
I got my '04 in Feb '05 it now only has 9100 miles on it. I've been trying to mile it up but it's hard when you got so many wheels.
