Motor went south yesterday, but oh well. Now I have a reason to UPGRADE .... Are there any sug. I have been reading alot about taking the head off a H22A Vtec and putting it on a H23a Non-Vtec.... Sorry I am a muscle car guy until I saw the imports had out cans of WOOP ASS to the big V8's....

Re: New here....PLEASE HELP

The H22 head on the H23 block will give you a little more low end TQ. But you don't need it if you know how to launch. Best bet is to go JDM H22A with LSD. That's a balls-to-the wall motor stock in the Japanese Lude's. 220HP, 160tq, 11:1 c/r. They're pretty fast. Throw some cams in it, new valves, and if you have the cash, get pistons, etc. Go to youtube and search "H22 bored to H27"
They bored an H22 to a 2.7l. Naturally aspirated. It would eat the cute little Muffstangs

Me: FAIL
