Re: Porsche 924

The correction of the rear seat is almost done. I need to hurry up, so I'm working every night.

The inside wheel arches was made much narrower.

And all together with dry fitting. Now the rear seatback has the right size of 54 millimeters.

I have deleted the wipers from the windshield.

The upper parts of the door trims was done.

The bath of the interior was widened in the front end.

The front fenders had a step because of a discrepancy of molds. It was filled.

Dry fitting of all.

Re: Porsche 924

The interior was finished in putty.

But then I met some problems with using of automotive filler. It was deleted and repaired with the Tamiya's one.

The fuel cap has almost done.

The rear bumper has finished.

Re: Porsche 924

great model Mikhail !
Think this model can be probably reissued soon by revell germany. I also seen Arii made it too, but dunno its quality compared to this monogram.

Re: Porsche 924

This is the last update before painting.
The wheel discs was rebuilt. I have used Maserati Merak's discs for this. The inner parts was cutted out and glued to the Porsche's discs.

The front arms was extended.

This is what I did with the rear suspension.

Also polycaps was installed to the rear wheels to fit them to the new steel rod.

Finally, this is how the car looks on the wheels before painting.

And this is what I want to receive at the finish. It's the car of my friend on the second set of discs with winter tires.
