I Just Can't get it!!!!

Hi. I am trying to remove my alternator to take it in to get it tested to see if it works. My car will not start without a boost. There is some sort of cover over the bolt that holds on the alternator. I can feel the bolt when I put my pinkie finger inside the cover, however none of my sockets seem to fit the bolt????? Any ideas........ I like to tinker with this car so I would prefer to get this done myself. Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Great car chat here.......

Does the Cover Pop off?
Mine didn't have any cover of that sort?
The Alternator was one of the easier things to remove in my opinion.
Have a Picture?
Maybe its a Metric Allen Key?

Re: I Just Can't get it!!!!

V-DUB-RIZ, thank you very much for your help. I placed my pinkie finger into the hole in the cover and there was a small hole in the bolt. I tried my allen keys ansd sure enough one fit. I really appreciate your suggestion. I was able to remove it and will get it tested to see if it still charges the battery.
