95 MR2 Vs 98 Z28
Ok, now this comparo has its own home. Here are two cars that I love. Lets start with a clean slate and compare the two objectively. Clearly, the Z28 dominates in the straights, and honestly is no slouch with cornering. The MR2 though should make quick work of a tight course. The MR2 also looks way cooler in my opinion. I think that even after relative modifications are added to both, its a loosing battle for the MR2 in a straight, while the MR2 should turn into a track beast. Add what you want, compare how you want. I like them both.

Re: 95 MR2 Vs 98 Z28
Well the part of you like them both means good taste. the question is if you could only choose one which one would you pick? Hmmm.... that is a tough call...do you need a back seat?.... MR2 doen't have one but the z28 is only for show....
which one would you like to compete in, track or drag? I think you would have fun with the MR2 more. To me the MR2 seem more rare then the Z28. I think it would be a great project and you would have more respect with it. If you have the knowlage and made it a project, I don't think you would get bored with it. When you are done with it, it could be a great quarter mile car. However if you are not looking for a project the Z28 would be great as is but I think you would get bored with it looking onto other projects. Thats just my opinion though |

Mr2s are good in the straights too, maybe not as good as the z28 stock for stock. think power to weight too. also i see alot less tuned mr2s compared to z28s. plus its turbo!!!! wOot
