stock for stock yes...

otherwise you have to look at mods and drivers...it's not all about displacement. though it is amusing you have a domestic and all you compared was the amount of cylinders.

Re: Such BS!!

The Hennessey Viper would rape those 2 cars if he was trying.

Re: Such BS!!

That was a 650R aka 650rwhp Viper GTS with long tubes, Carbon intake cold air ducts an some engine honing an some internal work. I don't think there's any F.I on that viper that's a stage I kit. Those supra's are probably capable of much more power when single or even if they are single they either have small singles or the boost turned down.

No the viper can whoop those supra's any time. Even if that was the 650 it should still whoop the supra's. Point done.

Re: Such BS!!

MY UNCLE USED TO OWN A 650R! I know what the car can do. Most single turbo supra's are running easily over 600 rwhp. I'm all in favor of the viper but get you facts straight. To me the viper didn't see like it was going at though. The viper is around 3250 lbs which is alot less than the supra as well at 3515 even though with a nice single they're down to 3485 or so. Still venoms are fast but not that tunable.

I beg to differ the beg to siffer but the viper is great to modify and if he would have taken that up to 700 he what have won iven if he didn't really try. Don't even talk about the 1000 HP they'd be gone!

He can't take it up to 700 because the viper is N/a. (Think about it )

Are you trying to say don't think about saying if the supra was 1000hp?

Fact of the matter is an N/a viper couldn't beat a supra modified because they aren't capable of making more then 800rwhp N/a an that's probably maxed out. We all know 2JZ's are capable of making 1500+ to the wheels with good singles.

Imo ~ I've seen some sick twin turbo vipers that would rape most supra's though. My Issue of exotic modified mag has a 1200 rwhp viper

Re: Such BS!!

why are you guys arguing about this?? It has got to be one of the dumber arguments ever. Each car is amazing in its own right. Personally i love the 2JZ. It is a well designed powerhouse. Obviously the Viper is going to be capable of a ton of power as well, but look at what we're comparing here....a 3litre I6 and an 8litre v10. There are some badass Vipers in the world and likewise as many if not more Supras; however, the Supra has a much wider following.

For all intensive purposes, this could be called a draw because there is no clearcut winner. Each car has good and bad points, and even though i stand behind the Supra before the Viper, the current world record holder for the fastest 6spd manual car is a sick Viper GTS-TT.

Actually it looks much more like a 800TT in the front. When that car first was tuned and tested it was ungodly fast and I remembered what it looked like. Not trying to put it down but the 650R differs in the front end. Not to mention that color Viper in the vid is the same as the first 800TT.

On a side note, I'd like to see anyone race a Hennessy 1000TT with 3.55 gears.

Edit: Really unsure, it could be either I guess as they look to have the same lower air splitters up front. But any Viper could have that, stock or tuned. I'd like to think that it's a 650R though.
