idk what you guys are talking about, autos are the shit. you will run consistant times with the auto. so if you enter brackets, youll win. who couldnt use the extra $500 you would win from winning the brackets.
autos are cruisers you dont need to worry about shifting, just sit back and cruise

Unhappy Could use some help

I love that swap info you have already provided. Thanks. Ok if you could help me out with the rest of my swap though I would appreciate it. You see I have a USDM 94 B18C1 engine but my 94 honda civic is an auto. I want to keep it auto, but I have been looking high and low for an ECU and VTEC transmission but haven't found any place. You see I live in Sacramento, CA and the best place here is HAP recyclying and they only sell USDM stuff. So where do I go to get the JDM tranny and ECU? I want everything to be smooth for the CAL smog refs when they give me the changeover sticker. So if you could help thanks.

94 B18C1 w/ PR3 pistons
Forged Eagle Rods
Mugen twin loop exhaust
Homemade CAI with K&N 6" cone

Not bad so far but I can't wait to get the swap in.

Bishopxx - Check out Venus motorsport or something like that. They have tons of salvaged parts from cars. What you need is a auto flywheel and an auto tranny. You need to take off the manual flywheel from teh B18C and put in the auto flywheel. Another thing to think about in terms of swap is using a B20Z w/the LS auto tranny. I think the LS had the sports gear tranny for the auto. But I sure wouldn't mind a auto b16a with type-r internals to haul ass.

I agree. No matter what you got, a car of the same caliber with a 5 speed will always kill you.

Are you doing it so that you will never be able to ride the rpm band the way you're supposed to? I'm not trying to start a flame war here but what you are saying is kind of funny. You want an auto to run consistant times. It is just as possible to run consistant time with a 5 speed and better times at that so why do the auto?
