Saxo vtr 120,000 miles
Hello all,
I have been offered a saxo 1.6 vtr thats done 120k for £280, however the clutch is slipping and needs replacing. Is it worth the time and money (that i havn't got) to get the clutch fixed on such a high milage petrol engine? Cheers Martin |

Re: Saxo vtr 120,000 miles
Difficult to comment on a car that I have never seen but can say that I had a 1.1 saxo with 180k on it's clock that was absolutly fantastic. I have however also driven a saxo with 30k on the clock that was horrible. If it is a good runner and you like it then have it. They are easy to work on and not particulary complicated. Most things that can go wrong on them are normally easy to tackle by somebody that has a fair knowledge in mechanics.
Check for the obvious things tho. Oil in the coolant and is common. |
