1998 Delta 88 Fuel pump
I have a delta 88 that has loss of power to fuel pump , where would a common spot to look for the problem. Fuel pump has bee changed but does not run . Thanks

Find the fuel pump fuse and check it, make sure it has power. Check and/or replaced the fuel pump relay if the fuse is good. If the fuse had power and is good, and the relay is good, then you'll need trace wiring...are you sure there is no power to the pump?

If you attach a test light to the fuel pump circuit, at the harness to the tank, remember this.....
When you initially turn the key to "on", the test light only comes on for two seconds, and then will go out......then, it will only be on solid, while you crank the car..... Hate to say this, but you should have done this test BEFORE replacing the pump..... |
