from fwd to rwd
I am currently working on my 87 dodge daytona. over the weekend i finally finished getting everything out from under the hood. now i can start rebuilding it. i have found an automatic racing transmission i want, but i am wanting to make the car RWD. if anyone has any suggestions on how to convert the car to RWD effectively please let me know. Plus i'm still looking to find a T-II 2.5 but i am having no luck. any info anyone has for me would be greatly appreciated.

Re: from fwd to rwd
The Thing is they used post on how to do that the plans must have had a flaw or something so they stopped posting on how to rwd our cars ...
The best way is to get a wrecked AWD chrysler town an country - an use the entire rear - basically from u joint by the trans - drive shaft - an the whole rear axes u can use or change the hub... but that is the only way i know an have seen it done - we did it to my buddies 93 r/t iroc - with a 300hp 2.5 t in it.... good luck - it takes about week to complete the process.

Re: from fwd to rwd
ya the r/t is suposed to have the 2.2 turbo intercooled i beleive - we took a 2.5 t an worked the hell out of it - got it 2 300 hp with out any nitrous that is pretty damn good -
ya i wouldnt mind having my tona's awd - that would be sick - the launch would be awsome - i am lookin for my own now - in search of a t&c awd system....
