first car.. pls help!

hello everyone,
my name is trevor, i'm 18 and new to the forum. i'm sorry i have to do this, because i know you guys get a lot of these kinds of threads. anyways, here goes, im looking to get my first car, i have a couple of choices already in mind but i would just like your oppinions. i have been driving for two years now (my parents' car), and now want a car of my own. to sum it all up, i want a nice fun car ( for the track, strip, autocross etc ), that is relatively reliable(because it needs to get me from A-B), and around $4-6k.
here is what i was thinking of ( not in any particular order):
nissan 240 sx (s13 probably)
2nd gen rx-7 (t2 or n/a)
91-92 vw gti (16v)
save up and get an older e36

thanks for the help in advance, and if you have any other suggestions pls feel free to share.

trevor
