Wow, nice kit. I just saw a yellow Testarossa at a local body shop I go to. Wow, its a thing of beauty. Good luck on the build!

Re: revell/monogram 1/12 Ferrari Testarossa
I've built this kit a long time ago. Pretty nice but a bit low on details concidering the massive scale. The wheels were also a bit too small if I remember correctly..

Re: revell/monogram 1/12 Ferrari Testarossa
I think for the front grill, it'd be easier to just drill out the whole thing and remake the fins from styrene.
It looks like you know what you're doing, so that shouldn't be too difficult.

Nice looking so far. I just got this kit and am wondering if you have to correct firing order on your distributor or if you just made it up. Let's see some progress also.

Engine almost ready:
interior with leather and "vilt"(have no idea how ist called in English it's a sort of fabric): started constructing the engine lid with plastic strips Modified the wheels, cut the back of the rim an installed a polynap from tamiya to attach the wheel to the car painted the rims silver and added a valve: lowered the suspension a bit, and added scrathbuild shocks and brakedisks It's starting to look like a testarossa @ CFCrules: heres a link to a pic with all the partnumbers, hope it helps http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...smal/parts.jpg |

Hi,
how did you cut the stripes from plastic for the engine cover ? Each stripe looks different. Why donīt you take some Evergreen stripes and just cut them with a knife to the desired length?
