2000 Alero Sunroof Problem

Hello,
I have a 2000 Alero 6CYl with OEM sunroof.

Upon closing my sunroof, the panel will not seat fullly closed. It will only open again an inch or two and then either not move or go back to the unseated postion. I can hear the electric motor click on when I depress the switch, but the motor does not move the panel to the fully closed position.

This has happened intermittently in the past. In each case if I wait a day or two, I will have normal operation. I'm hoping that this case will 'fix itself' again, but I know something is not right and I want to address this problem.

Any thoughts or Ideas? Thanks for your input.

Will
